Kings of Leon (or as the kid says "KiKi Leon") were AWE.SOME.
There was a slight air of arrogance knowing that we've been listening to them since 2004.
And maybe an eyeroll at the first sounds of Sex on Fire.
But they had me at Tapered Jean Girl and so I was willing to look past the massive sing-along that accompanied their most current radio hits.
Even so, there was something slightly powerful being in the moment, feeling the beat reverb in my chest and the echo of thousands of voices singing in unison.
